Manford’s Comedy Club will be heading in to town on Friday 16th November 2018 with a live comedy show that features four hilarious comedians who are well-known names on the UK comedy circuit and are all personally chosen by Jason Manford. Expect a great evening of original stand-up comedy from some very funny people, who just want to make you laugh out loud! The Garrick Playhouse is a firm favourite with the Manfords team and comedians, so here’s a quick introduction to the comedians appearing at the show:
Matt Reed:
Born and bred in Sunderland, insanely funny and charming, as pleasant as he is wonderfully brutal,
Matt Reed is one of the funniest, quick-witted comics and MCs on the UK circuit and can keep you on the edge of your seat with the ability to skillfully destroy any heckler that has the misfortune to cross his path!
Dave Longley:
Longley’s towering stage presence and intensity, combined with his cutting wit have made him one of the most popular and controversial circuit comics in the UK. David delivers deadpan accounts of his everyday life which are shockingly honest, well considered and divinely funny.
Simon Lomas:
Despite only starting stand up in September 2015, Simon Lomas is already regarded as one of the most refreshing and exciting new acts on the circuit. Definitely one to watch. He was chosen as the support act for Jason’s warm up tour 2018.
TanyaLee Davis:
At 3-feet, 6-inches tall, TanyaLee Davis is the Ferrari of comedy – classy, top quality, low to the ground and kind of racy. This Canadian comedian is used to shaking things up, starting with her use of the word midget. She paints a vivid picture of life from the ground up and cleverly uses her comedy to create her own world so sharply that you come away feeling like you have witnessed a whirlwind. It’s fresh, energetic comedy delivered at lightening pace.
