Norma Green, an unwillingly single factory worker from Manchester is looking for Mr Wonderful through the services of a dating agency. Her mum, Phoebe, who is bedridden and on the verge of Alzheimer’s, encourages Norma’s quest for romance yet is terrified that one day Norma will leave her for a lover.
We see Norma with her various dates and her very special one, Geoff, who charms them both with his wit and style. But is Geoff really all that he appears? And will Norma find true love? A delightful comedy not to be missed.
