Following the enormous success of the long-running series the authors were commissioned to write a stage show based on the most popular episodes: the capture of the German Captain and sailors and the Lady Godiva affair.
Featuring Captain Mainwaring, Jones, Wilson, Fraser, Godfrey, Pike and Walker plus Hodges, the verger and the vicar and not forgetting the ladies, Mrs Pike and Mrs Fox and the assorted local bathing beauties.
